Do I Qualify?

You may become a Launchpad student If you are currently considering leaving school but are unsure of which path to take. Launchpad is an opportunity to 'earn while you learn' and get the experience employers are looking for. Getting out there in the work place can also help you to discover a career path before you commit yourself to tertiary study in a field that you may not enjoy.

The best thing about Launchpad is that you're not alone - you get to study with other Launchpad scholarship holders with the support of a coordinator who will be there to help you out whenever you need it.

Before you make any rushed decisions about your future get in touch with your regional Launchpad office and discuss your options with us. We are a non-profit organisation, and our only interest is your success!

Launchpad is available to year twelve (12) and year thirteen (13) school leavers who can all apply for selection. Work options we provide are mainly on entry-level positions in office administration and financial services within a wide variety of workplaces. The study part of the programme varies a bit in each region, but generally you'd be working towards a Certificate in Business Administration, with a practical component that recognises your workplace learning.

Depending on the position, you will be contracted for a year, getting paid a minimum wage or above. We would work with you to make sure your year is successful and positive. We provide mentoring and support on a regular and consistent basis throughout the year.
