While employer participation in Launchpad is straight forward and hassle-free, philosophically there is some commitment required.

To become a Launchpad employer:

  • Contact your Launchpad Regional Co-ordinator
  • Interview and select the best applicant for your workplace
  • Enter into an employment agreement with the applicant
  • Allow the student to attend tertiary training (if applicable) each week
  • Appoint a workplace supervisor
  • Enable the supervisor to attend an introductory session
  • Allow the Co-ordinator to meet every 4-6 weeks with the student

  • Employing a young person in an entry level office role
  • Sponsoring an event (networking evenings, graduation ceremonies)
  • In kind support (marketing and promotional material)
  • Making a donation
