What Is Launchpad?

Launchpad is a non-profit, employment initiative designed by the Employment Scholarship Trust in response to difficulties faced by New Zealand's young people in obtaining work and the necessary experience to start their careers. Launchpad's strategy is to involve businesses in the work/training process and encourage them to take an active role.

Launchpad assists young New Zealanders to develop the skills and experience they need and encourages continued training. It provides a framework whereby fundamental skills can be learned by students in the workplace.

Launchpad secures links between students, training providers and businesses. Each party stands to benefit from this ongoing relationship.
